Damages recovered from a Railroad Company.
--Mrs. Sarah Vandever has recovered $2,500 damages from the Pennsylvania Railroad Company for causing, as was alleged, the death of her husband.
It appears he was a passenger on the train in 1857, and being somewhat intoxicated, refused to show his ticket.
Arriving at a station, the train stopped, and in putting him out, he fell, from the effects of which he died.
