The Steamship Canadian.
--The N. O. Picayune says:
We regret to learn that T. C. Gilmous, with his wife and two children, Samuel R. Scott, A. R. Harrison and Robert W Dean, all of this city, were on board the steamship Canadian, from Quebec for Liverpool, whose loss was reported in a telegraphic dispatch.
As we have no further particulars of the terrible disaster, we may indulge the hope that these friends of ours are among the saved.

We regret to learn that T. C. Gilmous, with his wife and two children, Samuel R. Scott, A. R. Harrison and Robert W Dean, all of this city, were on board the steamship Canadian, from Quebec for Liverpool, whose loss was reported in a telegraphic dispatch.
As we have no further particulars of the terrible disaster, we may indulge the hope that these friends of ours are among the saved.
