New cure for Burns. --A new cure for burns is noticed as infallible by Los Mondes. The affected part is kept under water, in a basin, or a bath, the negative pole of a Volta Farradiae apparats is put in communication with the water, while the positive pole communicates with some part of the body out of the water and near the injury. The patient feels no pain, and the inflammation is subdued generally in an hour. When the whole person has been in flame the patient must be put into a bath, with the negative pole in the direction of the foot, and the positive one touching the shape of the neck. Some of the water must be changed every 15 minutes to prevent it becoming warm.
