--On Saturday night last the bar-room of William A. Porter, opposite the Spotswood Hotel, was broken, into and robbed of seven gallons of whiskey and, a lot of cigars, valued at $1,000. A negro named William, slave of Powhatan Roberts, has been arrested and locked up, charged with the theft.
