The counterfeit fifty-dollar Greenbacks. --We were yesterday shown the most perfect of the fifty-dollar counterfeit greanback notes that we have yet met with. It is excellent in the engraving, the paper, the printing; and, indeed, in its whole appearance it is well calculated to deceive any but the most perfect of the experts in such matters. The only mark to which we can venture to direct public attention as a caution is that of the absence of the button mark on the lappel of the coat on the figure of Hamilton, in the body of the bill. In the genuine bills the buttons are rather indistinct, but in the counterfeit but one is to be seen.--Philadelphia Ledger.
