Infirmary Company. --Captain John Herbig's command is now at the New Fair Grounds practicing light infantry drill from eight to ten o'clock, and from 2½ to 4½ o'clock daily. The balance of the time in devoted to instruction in the infirmary drill. The company promises to be a most valuable recession to the army, and it seems a pity that the plan for raising them had not been adopted at the outset of hostilities.

Flag Presentation. --The ladies of Portsmouth, Va, have presented to the Elliott Grays, Capt. Louis F. Bossieux, stationed at the Naval Hospital near that city, a beautiful flag of blue silk, trimmed with heavy silk fringe, hearing on the obverse the following inscription: "Presented by the Ladies of Portsmouth to the Elliott Grays. Organized February 4th, 1861." On the reverse is the coat-of-arms of Virginia.
