[304] μοῦνον this Ionic form （like κοῦρος, δουρί, ξεῖνος, γούνατα） is used in dialogue by Soph.: Aesch. has not μοῦνος, though in Aesch. PB 804 “τόν τε μουνῶπα στρατόν.” In Eur. Rh. 31 “μόναρχοι” is now restored for μούναρχοι.
