[104] αὖ, here a conjunction, but, answering “μέν”: 145, 17.478, etc. παρέβαξκε, was “παραβάτης”, the fighting man beside the charioteer. For Zen. read “ὅν”, so that he must also have read “” for σφε in 111, or taken the latter for a singular, as in Trag. and Pindar.
