Prensuras semisupina manus. Some copies have semisopita; but the other is the preferable reading, as it prevents tautology. It is moreover a phrase by no means unusual with our poet. Thus we find,

Purpureo jacuit semisupina thoro;

And,

Cum jacet in dextrum semisupina latus.
