E.g. “Τὸ δὲ μηδὲ κυνῆν οἴκοθεν ἐλθεῖν ἐμὲ τὸν κακοδαίμον᾽ ἔχοντα,” “but to think that I, wretched fellow, should come from home without even my cap!” AR. Nub. 268. “Τῆς μωρίας: τὸ Δία νομίζειν, ὄντα τηλικουτονί,” “what folly! to believe in Zeus, now you are so big!” Ib. 819. For the simple infinitive in these exclamations, see 787.
