Genetaeus

*Genhtai/os), a surname of Zeus, which he derived from Cape Genetus on the Euxine, where he was worshipped as ἔυξεινος, i. e. " the hospitable," and where he had a sanctuary. (Apollon. 2.378, 1009; V. Fl. 5.148; Strab. xii. p.548.)
