C. STERTINIUS XENOPHON, DOMUS

on the Caelian, known only from an inscribed pipe (CIL xv. 7544). Stertinius was the physician of Claudius (Plin. NH xxix. 7; CIL vi. 8905), and caused his death by poison (Tac. Ann. xii. 611, 67); cf. Pros. iii. 273. 666.
