VULCACIUS RUFINUS, DOMUS

on the Quirinal, near the vicus Longus. The ruins of this house, and an inscribed base (CIL vi. 32051 ; PT 178) were found under the Ministero della Guerra. Vulcacius was consul in 347; praef. urbi in 349 A.D., and an uncle of the Emperor Julian (BC 1885, 17).
