A lead pipe bearing his name was found east of the Mausoleum of Hadrian under the Palazzo di Giustizia. He was consul for the second time in 44 A.D. (BC 1889, 212; CIL xv. 7508 (cf. 6100; Pros. iii. 14. 109; PBS v. 302; Cons. 348).
