Next after Cynus, one comes to Alope and to Daphnus, which latter, as I said, is razed to the ground;1 and here there is a harbor which is about ninety stadia distant from Cynus, and one hundred and twenty stadia from Elateia, for one going on foot into the interior. We have now reached the Maliac Gulf, which is continuous with the Opuntian Gulf.
