Die Bezeichnung castra [p. 112] hiberna, die Liv. nur noch 29.35.13 gebraucht, ist hier vielleicht von seinem Gewährsmann oder von ihm selbst aus Cato genommen (s. d. Stelle aus Fronto); vgl. Nissen KU. 155. Dafs Liv. selbst nicht an ein Winterlager gedacht hat, zeigt das folgende praedatum .. in .. agros und 16.3: ad praedandum in agros. tria milia] s. 11.1.
