As the poor frighted deer, that stands at gaze, (1150)

Wildly determining which way to fly, (1151)

Or one encompass'd with a winding maze, (1152)

That cannot tread the way out readily; (1153)

So with herself is she in mutiny,
To live or die which of the twain were better, (1155)

When life is shamed, and death reproach's debtor.
