Face-royal, a kingly visage, and the visage stamped on the coin called a royal: “he will not stick to say his face is a f.: God may finish it when he will, 'tis not a hair amiss yet: he may keep it still at a f., for a barber shall never earn sixpence out of it,” H4B I, 2, 26--28 (i. e. he may keep it at the full value of a royal.
