IV, 2, 15 (Douce: "not the celebrated heresiarch Jerome of Prague, but another of that name born likewise at Prague, and called the hermit of Camaldoli in Tuscany." Douce must, indeed, have been mightily imposed on by the learning which the clown displays on other occasions; cf. II, 3, 23--29).
