IV, 3, 39. “you do climb up it now,” Lr. IV, 6, 2 (Qq climb it up). Applied to a horizontal direction: “up Fish Street! down Saint Magnus' Corner!” H6B IV, 8, 1. “she says up and down the town that her eldest son is like you,” H4B II, 1, 114 (cf. Down).
