I told him of my selfe Warburton: That is, told him the condition I was in, when he had his last audience.—Delius questions Warburton's interpretation and holds the true meaning to be, ‘I told him of my own accord.’ Whereupon, Schmidt (Notes, p. 173) acutely remarks that had this been the meaning, the text should run ‘I told it him of myself.’
