Honorary decree for a phylarch
(?) IG II2 12523 formerly Athens, NM, no inv. no.; current location unknown 4th c.

From Akropolis. Upper part of stele with relief and pediment with rosette in centre. Pentelic marble. h. 0.34, w. 0.27. Not examined.

The very fragmentary inscription may have been an honorary decree for Prokles Gniphonos. Because the relief represents three riders moving toward the right, it has been suggested that he was a phylarch.
