GABIA LA GRANDE Granada, Spain.

An underground chamber 4.1 m square was found here, ca. 6 km S of Granada, accessible through a long dromos with steps leading to the exterior. The chamber was roofed with a round cupola and had an octagonal nymphaeum at its center. Plan and elevation give an impression of a Roman cryptoporticus combined with a bath. However, traces of decoration suggest a structure of the 4th c., so it may be connected with a Christian cult.
