MONTSÉRIÉ Hautes-Pyrénées, France.

The Sanctuary of Erge at Mont Martau has been the object of new investigations in recent years. The bronze mask in the Tarbes museum comes from the sanctuary. It does not seem to be a prehistoric work of the 3d c. B.C., but rather a Gallo-Roman product of archaizing style.
