SEEB Zurich, Switzerland.

There was Roman villa near Winkel ca. 7 km N of Zurich. It was built in the mid 1st c. A.D. and flourished into the late 3d c., with several alterations and additions. The estate was surrounded by a wall (ca. 400 x 200 m), and divided by a cross wall into a residential area and a larger agricultural one (250 x 200 m). The bath had simple geometric mosaics of the 2d c. In the agricultural section were eight buildings, built in pairs against the enclosure wall. There is also a round fountain house, roofed and built over a well. Finds are in the Schweizerisches Landesmuseum in Zurich.
