TREMULI (Souk el Arba du Gharb) Morocco.

A station of the Antonine Itinerary (24.1), on the Roman road from Tingi to Volubilis, often placed at Basra, where there are only the ruins of an Arab town of the 9th-lOth c. It is more reasonable to place the site at Souk el Arba du Gharb, where the remains of the E section of a Roman camp 100 m square were found in 1954-55, near the marabout of Sidi Aïssa. The W part of the camp was destroyed when a trench was dug for the Rabat-Tangiers railroad, beyond which some baths have been partly uncovered.
