YELTEN (“Verbe”) Turkey.

Site in Pisidia, at or near Yelten, 17 km N of Korkuteli. It is known from an inscription and other evidence, but the city has not been exactly located. There are numerous ancient stones in Yelten village, and a dozen or so inscriptions have been found there or in the neighborhood; some of these relate to agonistic festivals, and city status is proved by mention of Council and People.
