PETUKHOVKA I Ukraine.

Unfortified Hellenized settlement of ca. 1 ha located 17 km SW of Olbia along the right bank of the S Bug. Excavations have shown that the settlement arose in the late 6th c. B.C., flourished in the Hellenistic era, when many of its structures were built, and came to an end in the 2d c. B.C. It was probably an agricultural village having close ties with Olbia.
