TIDDINGTON Warwickshire. England.

Small settlement on the river Avon, near Stratford, excavated 1925-27. Several buildings were found, and furnaces for iron working and smelting; there was also a small furnace thought to have been for the cupellation of lead and for silver extraction. A structure identified as a tile kiln was probably for corn drying.
