[1351] ἔρρυτο a strong aorist of ῥύω, formed as if there were a present ῥύμι: in Hom. Il. 18.515 “ῥύατο” for ῥύντο is its 3rd plur. Cp. Hom. Il. 5.23 “ἔρυτο σάωσε δέ,” where the aor. has a like relation to ἐρύω (the temporal augment being absent).
