φίλοιν ι δακρυρροούντοιν Cp. Soph. Ant. 381 “οὐ δή που ..;” In participles belonging to the 3rd declens. the masc. form of the dual is often used as fem.; indeed the specially fem. forms, such as ἐχούσα, are very rare. See Soph. OC append. on 1676, p. 293. Similarly τώ, τοῖν, τούτοιν, οἶν were the usual fem. forms: cp. 1462 f., 1504, and Soph. Ant. 769 n. Thus Xen. Cyrop. Plat. So τὼ θεώ, τοῖν θεοῖν （Demeter and Persephone）.
