[788] ὦν ἱκόμην ἄτιμον = ἄτιμον τούτων ἱκόμην, not graced in respect of those things (responses) for which I had come: Eur. Andr. 1014ἄτιμον ὀργάναν χέρα τεκτοσύνας,” not rewarded for its skill. For ἱκόμην (cogn. accus. denoting the errand, like ἔρχομαι ἀγγελίαν cp. 1005 τοῦτ᾽ ἀφικόμην: Soph. OC 1291 δ᾽ ἦλθον ... θέλω λέξαι”: Aristoph. Pl. 966 τι μάλιστ᾽ ἐλήλυθας”: Plat. Prot. 310eἀλλ᾽ αὐτὰ ταῦτα καὶ νῦν ἥκω παρὰ σέ” (where the acc. is cogn. to ἥκω, not object to the following διαλεχθῇς).
