[899] τὸν Ἀβαῖσι ναόν The site of Abae, not far N. of the modern village of Exarcho, was on a hill in the northwest of Phocis, between Lake Copais and Elateia, and near the frontier of the Opuntian Locrians. Hadrian built a small temple beside the ancient “ἱερόν,” Paus. 10.35.3.
