πεπονθὼς ὀνήσιμα, ἔχω μαρτυρεῖν (“πεπονθέναι”). We could say, “μαρτυρῶ σοι εὐεργετήσαντι” (like “σύνοιδα”): but less well, “μαρτυρῶ εὖ πεπονθώς”. Cp. O. C. 1128εἰδὼς δ᾽ ἀμύνω τοῖσδε τοῖς λόγοις τάδε”, with like emphasis on the partic., ‘I have felt these benefits which I thus requite.’
