κακούς (which has needlessly been suspected, cr. n.) is interpreted by vv. 127 ff., and more immediately by the contrast with “τοὺς σώφρονας”: it means those who, like Ajax, are led into “δυσσέβεια” by overweening self-reliance or pride.
