μόλις πως, by some slow and painful process, which she cannot analyse. Plat. Prot.p. 328 D “μόγις πως ἐμαυτὸν ὡσπερεὶ ουναγείρας”. So “μόλις ποτέ” Helen. 896. For “πως” thus used, cp. also Il. 14. 104“μάλα πώς με καθίκεο θυμὸν ἐνιπῇ”, ‘thou hast strangely moved me.’
