μᾶλλον: we understand “νοσήσει”, or the like.

οὐκ: the same crasis as in O. T. 555, O. T. 993, O. T. 1140.

Αἴαντος, οἵαν κ.τ.λ.: cp. 785ὅρα..τόνδ᾽ ὁποἶ ἔπη θροεῖ”. As in 308 “᾿θώϋξεν” marked the first pangs of his despair, θωΰσσει here denotes a fresh access.
