Hec. 1015“Ἀχαιῶν ναύλοχοι περιπτυχαί” (the Greek camp at the ships, with its “τεῖχος”). μόνους τ᾽ Ἀτρείδας (“λιπών”), i.e., leaving them bereft of my aid. Eur. Med. 52“πῶς σοῦ μόνη Μήδεια λείπεσθαι θέλει;” Cp. Il. 9. 437, where Phoenix imagines himself remaining with the army at Troy after Achilles has gone home,—“πῶς ἂν ἔπειτ᾽ ἀπὸ σεῖο, φίλον τέκος, αὖθι λιποίμην ι οἶος;”
