τὸ νῦν σέλας, i.e., ‘which I see now, but soon shall see no more.’ Cp. 753κατ᾽ ἦμαρ τοὐμφανὲς τὸ νῦν τόδε.

διφρευτὴν (845): cp. Ant. 1065τρόχους ἁμιλλητῆρας ἡλίου”, ‘courses of the sun's swift chariot.’ For “καὶ τὸν..Ἥλιον” (instead of “καὶ σέ, Ἥλιε”), cp. 862 n.
