κελεύθους, from Crisa to Mycenae: “δεινοτάτας”, since the expected avenger returns as dust. For the poetical plur., cp. 68ταῖσδε ταῖς ὁδοῖς”. The plur. might, indeed, mean the journey from Mycenae to Phocis, and the return; but this is less natural.
