ἅ γ᾽ ἔλαβες: the “γ̓” with causal force (quae ceperis): cp. 663. For the tribrach, cp. 1232. Odysseus, ignoring the moral question, asserts a right of property in the bow, because his “βουλαί” (as he euphemistically calls them) have won it.
