ἔργονσὸν: a familiar Attic phrase, as appears from its frequency in Ar. , either (a) with inf., as Nub. 1343, “σὸν ἔργον, πρεσβῦτα, φροντίζειν κ.τ.λ.”: or (b) as a parenthesis before an imperat., as Av. 862, “ἱερεῦ, σὸν ἔργον, θῦε”: Th. 1208, “σὸν ἔργον, φεῦγε”. It occurs more often without “ἐστί” than with it.
