τἀπὶ σοὶκακά, the ills which lie on thee: cp. Tr. 981ἀλλ᾽ ἐπί μοι μελέῳ” | “βάρος ἄπλετον: ἐμμέμονεν φρήν”. Not, ‘the ills which have come upon thee,’ as though “ἥκοντα” could be understood ( O. C. 1472ἥκει τῷδ᾽ ἐπ̓ ἀνδρὶ...τελεντή”). Nor, ‘the ills in thy case.’
