ποῦ στάσει, in a fig. sense, combined with “ποῖ...βάσει” (‘what your attitude is to be,’—‘what steps you are to take’), as oft. in expressions of perplexity; cp. Eur. Hec. 1079πᾷ βῶ, πᾷ στῶ, πᾷ κάμψω”; Eur. Alc. 864ποῖ βῶ; πᾷ στῶ; τί λέγω; τί δὲ μή”;
