ποίαν δόκησιν; This idiom, so common in colloquial Attic ( Ar. Ach.61 f., etc.), is alien from tragedy; but Schneidewin and others quote Helen. 566 “ΕΛ. χρόνιος <*>θὼν σῆς δάμαρτος ἐς χέρας”. | “ΜΕ. ποίας δάμαρτος; (‘how? “wife”?’).
