ἐν οὖν ῥοπῇκειμένῳ: cp. O. C.1510ἐν τῷ δὲ κεῖσαι τοῦ μόρου τεκμηρίῳ; (‘what sign of thy fate holds thee in suspense?’)—answering the words, “ῥοπὴ βίου μοι”. Alcaeus ap. Vesp. 1235 “ἀντρέψεις ἔτι τὰν πόλιν: δ᾽ ἔχεται ῥοπᾶς” (‘its fate hangs in the trembling scale’). For “ῥοπή” cp. also O. T.961 n.
