διαπρύσιοι: the adject. is not found in Homer, though “διαπρύσιον” (adv.) occurs several times; cf. h. Herm. 336. ὀλολυγαί, the cries of women at the dances in honour of Artemis. For the musical character of Artemis see Farnell p. 471, xxvii. 18.
