τὴν Σαλαμινίαν—one of the two state ships. Aristoph. Birds 147 refers to this mission: ἀνακύψεται | κλητῇρ᾽ ἄγουσ᾽ ἕωθεν Σαλαμινία. A third state ship, the Delias, is mentioned in inscriptions.

κελεύσοντας—i.e. τοὺς ἐν τῇ νηί.

μετ᾽ αὐτοὓ—the order clearly implies that Alc. had not even now been accused of mutilating the Hermae.
