Fragment from the lip showing a ram walking to the right.

Red: ruff of neck, top of head, breast, back, rear, and thigh muscles.


Unattributed ca. 540 - 530 B. C.

This ram is a more sturdy version of a ram on the lip cup in the Louvre by the Tleson Painter (Louvre F 86; Pottier 1922, pl. 69).
