STATUA SALONINI GALLIENI

a statue of Saloninus Gallienus, a son of the Emperor Gallienus (cf., however, RE vi. 669), which stood in pede montis Romulei, hoc est ante sacram viam inter templum Faustinae ac Vestam ad arcum Fabianum (Hist. Aug. Gall. 19). The statement does not inspire confidence, and may be an invention.
